Ventura County Wine-The Wine Train

Join us as the train takes you for a ride while you view the beautiful Heritage Valley celebrating the award-winning wines from Bad Dog Ranch Vineyards, Sonoma and Fat Cat Cellars, Napa.

Fat Cat Cellars will feature these two fine wines:

Chardonnay- Bright and crisp as a bebop band. Straw-colored Chardonnay is in perfect harmony with fresh fruit flavors. Hints of vanilla and butterscotch, and delicate apple and peach finish notes. Snappy, Impressive. The Cat's Meow.

Pinot Noir- this Pinot Noir is smooth. Smooth as jazz. Marvel at this Cat's medium ruby color. Wild berry aromas and lively accents of plum and raspberry swing together with crisp acidity and light tannins for one finesse of a finish. Juicy.

Bad Dog Ranch Vineyards will feature these two wines:

Pinot Grigio- The white wine-drinker's new best friend. Light in color.

Delicious hints of apricot, pear and melon- all leading to a soft finish. Bad Dog gives it five barks.

Petite Sirah- The baddest dog of them all beats up on beer - don't worry, he likes people. Inky-dark red in color. You'll get hints of blackberry, plum and pepper. A great blend for a delicious, long, soft finish.

As part of the Wine Train Experience, passengers will enjoy music and dancing, plus a variety of Hors D'oeurves including BBQ Tri-Tip, BBQ Chicken and Shrimp Cocktails, a display of Fruits, an assortment of Cheeses and Crackers, and Vegetable Crudite with dip also included. Our delicious Dessert Bar is also available to delight the palate. Sample these fine wines as the train travels through the evening.
