Local wine historian and author Charles Sullivan presents his unique perspective on the local winegrowing history of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Sullivan will discuss the winegrower’s and vintner’s history, the wine’s changing styles, swings in its popularity, where it grows best, and the geography of price. His book Zinfandel, a History of a Grape and Its Wine was a Veuve Clicquot Wine Book of the Year and a Finalist in the James Beard Foundation Awards.
