The French Cellar announces the fourteenth in a series of twenty Wine Appreciation Classes for the year 2008. "Chocolats Noirs & The Red Wines of Bordeaux" is a special workshop that explores the relationship of different French cocoas to red Bordeaux - and vise versa. Eight various Bordeaux blends of Left and Right Bank Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from different chateaux will be tasted. Sampled with each of the eight wines, will be paired chocolat noir wafers from the Ultra Fines and selected Petit Collections of famous Parisian chocolatier Michel Richart. Class is limited to 16 participants and are $90 per person. Reservations are required in advance and must be confirmed by Friday, August 8th. The class will be held Wednesday September 17th at 7PM, at 32 East Main Street in Los Gatos. Cost includes a light buffet of appropriate French cheeses and fruit, that will compliment the wine and chocolate.
