| Last October 20th of 2007, the biggest Caesar Salad in the world was created in Tijuana with help of chefs and culinary students weighting more than 7200 lbs., the record used to belong to New York City.
To commemorate the record, this Sunday August 24th the Caesar Salad Festival will take place on the esplanade of the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
With the presence of wine producing company L.A. Cetto, and Breweries like Cerveceria Tijuana, and Corona and Mexican traditional margaritas.
There will be more than 15 participant restaurants of the region including: Cheripan, La Fonda del Patio, Pomodoro, Guiseppis, Sakura, La Palapa Gigante, Mariscos Titos and others.
There will be an extensive artistic program with regional artists performing regional typical dances and live music including Mariachis. The event is free and all ages and every restaurant will do a raffle to give away gifts to interact with the audience.
