Long Beach Wine-Singles Night II

After the overwhelming success and popularity of our first Singles Night, we've decided to do it again. Although we haven't had as much time to accumulate our stock of "single" bottles, we had a little help this time around from Mother Nature. At 11:42am, July 29th we lost several good bottles. It is in memory of those bottles that we hold this month's event. As is often the case in a tragedy such as this, there emerges out of the rubble, stories of miraculous events. As we began to sift through the broken glass surveying the damage, the floor stained blood red, the sweet smell of Trokenbeerenauslese lingering in the air, suddenly someone yelled out "over here, we've got a survivor!" Could it be? A sense of hope welled up from within. Someone else called out, "here's another, this one's ok too!" One after another we pulled them out, chipped glass, labels torn and stained with the contents of their brethren. Some had withstood a unthinkable fall from the top of the alcoves, a good six feet high. Could it have been angels cushioning their fall or perhaps an anomaly of physics that allowed these bottles to survive such a traumatic event? We'll probably never know all the answers but, what we do know is that these bottles are special, despite their scars. Perhaps one of these bottles was destined to bring two people together on Singles Night to share the rest of their lives together. Could you be one of these people? For the cost of admission we'll keep pouring wine and beer from 7pm to 9pm with light appetizers.
